my guess for the story behind it is
The two were at each others necks holding a grudge, the two used to be close and when the victor struck the lsoer down, he pleaded her (assuming) to go on living without him to wich she denies and extends her hand

Seriously, wow, on the rare times i give a 10 this is worth it X_o I really love how detailed it is even though its so simple! Its almost like its Dormin's brother's cousin twice removed! as for the girl, she looks like whoever got her pissed is going to suffer one hell of an hour XD
